A Knot Inspired Emerald Bangle

My client loved her knot inspired remodelled emerald necklace and drop earrings so much that she wanted to extend her suite to include a bespoke emerald bangle. The inspiration was clear and was tasked to compliment her other pieces.  Like those bespoke pieces she wanted to emphasise the flow of the abstracted knot whilst making the most out of her emeralds and diamonds and again tactile too.

Using the graduating and alternating stones this time in a rub over settings also in alternating metals of white gold and yellow gold.  For me diamonds always look better in a white metal as the whiteness of the metal enhances the whiteness of the diamonds.

As you can see in the finished picture of the bespoke bangle the gold flows around the central graduation of gemstones, intertwining along the way to create an abstracted knot concept to compliment the newly remodelled emerald necklace and drop earrings.  The bangle style is hinged so the size is dictated by the clients wrist, made to fit her with a bit of movement, but at the same time quite snug to keep the detail on the top.  Having an oval bangle also fits the wrist better and again contributes to keeping the design detail on the top of the wrist and advantage of bespoke and custom items always made to fit you!
