A treasure trove of inherited items and collected pieces, each one telling a unique story of the past. Amidst this collection, two diamond rings caught the eye of my client, but they were in a sorry state - the settings were outdated and the diamonds were almost lost in a sea of metal. Something had to be done to give these precious stones the attention they deserved!
And so, the design process began. The goal was to create a stunning piece that would not only highlight the diamonds but also bring them to life. After careful consideration and collaboration with my client, we settled on a sweeping V-shaped design, a modern twist on a classic style. The diamonds were set in a rub-over style, enhancing their sparkle and making them appear larger than ever before.
But that's not all - the client's tastes had evolved over time, and she was keen to incorporate more warm tones into the piece. So, the diamonds were set in upcycled yellow gold, giving the piece a unique and personal touch.
The end result was nothing short of spectacular. The diamonds now shine like the stars they are, and the warm tones of the gold add a touch of elegance and sophistication. This stunning piece is a testament to the power of design and the transformative effect it can have on even the most worn and dated of items.
