Rutilated Quartz Gold Ring
A rutilated quartz gold ring was not the first thing that came to mind when designing for this client. She came to us with varied inspiration but she wanted a treat for herself and loved gemstones. Throughout this concept discussion se wanted something slightly 'far out' or unusual. So as a concept, to most far out idea we could conjure up was the idea of space and the universe. She didn't have the biggest budget, she just wanted a treat and loved the idea of having something unique, just for her.
This lady's quite a character so we also wanted something fun, so here we present her chosen jewellery design; her flying saucer gold ring with a golden rutilated quartz. The fibres of the rutilated quartz are really unusual and eye-catching, no two rutilated quartz gemstones would be exactly the same as the pattern of the golden stripes depends on the how the gem was grown by Mother Nature.
