Bespoke Jewellery; Gold Wishbone Diamond Ring Remodel
Imagine a treasure trove of inherited jewellery, each piece steeped in stories and sentimentality. Amidst this collection, two diamond rings stood out to my client, yet their beauty was hidden beneath outdated settings, their diamonds dimmed by heavy metal. These diamonds deserved to sparkle—and my client knew it. So began an exciting bespoke jewellery journey to transform these forgotten rings into a breathtaking, modern piece.
With a clear vision of elegance and modernity, we started the design process. Our goal was to highlight the diamonds, to let them shine as they once had, but now in a way that reflected her evolved taste. After discussing ideas, we landed on a striking V-shaped design—a classic shape with a contemporary twist. The diamonds would be set in a rub-over style, not only maximizing their sparkle but making them appear larger and more brilliant than ever before.
To honour her desire for warmer tones, we selected upcycled yellow gold for this bespoke jewellery piece. The rich gold complemented the diamonds perfectly, giving them a sophisticated and timeless backdrop. This choice of upcycled materials added an extra layer of meaning to the piece, making it not only beautiful but eco-conscious and deeply personal.
The final result? A stunning V-shaped diamond ring that radiates elegance and sophistication. The diamonds now shine like stars, each facet catching the light and drawing admiration. The warm yellow gold adds a rich glow, bringing warmth and character to this bespoke jewellery masterpiece.

This transformation is a testament to the power of bespoke jewellery design. What was once hidden and outdated has now been revived as a symbol of elegance and timeless beauty. Each detail reflects my client’s unique style, blending her love for classic elegance with a modern touch. The finished piece is more than jewellery—it’s a true celebration of heritage, creativity, and personal expression.
